POSITION SUMMARY

Plainfield, IN commercial printing company is accepting applications for the position of Direct Sales Representative from qualified individuals.

This individual must be organized and able to work with minimum supervision, self-disciplined and self-motivated.  They must be courteous, tactful, friendly, and possess a genuine enjoyment in meeting/talking with people. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP

This position reports to the Sales Supervisor


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Market Matrix Label and the products and services that we provide to potential and existing customers
  2. Prospect and develop a direct sales base
  3. Schedule appointments with customers via phone or in person
  4. Sell and explain new products and services
  5. Provide marketing and customer service information
  6. Write work orders and other paperwork as needed
  7. Maintain individual sales activity and contact standards
  8. Meet quarterly and yearly sales quotas
  9. Attend all scheduled department meetings
  10. All other duties as assigned


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High School degree required, College degree preferred / Strong sales or public contact experience is necessary. Prefer direct sales experience inside or outside


REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior sales experience necessary
  • Knowledge of printing technologies and processes preferred
  • Knowledge of prospecting and developing an appropriate customer base
  • Demonstrated ability to generate qualified business opportunities
  • Proficient computer skills and a thorough understanding of MS software is needed
  • Strong organization skills


WORKING CONDITIONS

Position in question is flexible based on applicant; possibility of inside sales or outside sales or a combination of both.
